Bovine collagen (collagen from cows)

    ... such as Zyderm and Zyplast is used for autografting. Some patients may be allergic to bovine collagen. Human-derived collagen offers an alternative and does not require a skin test. A gelatin matrix called Fabril is also injected as an alternative to collagen derived from cows and has lasting results compared to collagen.
Fat is the ideal filler because it is natural, nonallergenic but  longevity and symmetry of the fat graft are unpredictable.
