Autologous fat

    Removed by a mini liposuction procedure from other parts of the body, one's own fat is  used to reduce deeper wrinkles. The fat taken from the patient's abdomen, thighs, or buttocks and then is  reinjected under the skin. The abundant blood supply of the face makes it an ideal area to support the viability of free transplanted fat and there is no danger of rejection. Some of the transplanted fat will be absorbed soon after transfer and a second procedure is sometimes required. Results can last several years, fat grafting is available as an alternative to the permanent fillers.
